Re: TP2 is loud... But I'm sure it could be louder.
I didnt want to mess with the stock look of the battery cover (i kinda like the orange) but i removed the fine mesh black screen on the back of it for the speaker output and that seems to have made a nice difference.

Re: TP2 is loud... But I'm sure it could be louder.
Well, I finally got around to testing and thought I'd share...
I'm on EnergyROM Nov2nd build, soon to be Nov 5th/6th depending on when it releases... I tried the Audiopara 1 cab with no noticable change... I then installed AudioPara 2 cab and noticed a nice jump in volume... I'm definitely please with the difference but would love to see a little bit more... I don't use the internal speaker much so I'm hope for future tweeks to increase the volume... Regarless, if your suffering from low volume syndrome, I recommend testing both AudioPara files to see which works best for your ROM... Thanks to supdawg for sharing the link... |
Re: TP2 is loud... But I'm sure it could be louder.
For those removing the orange tape get prepared to have a different sound output. If you pull off the rear cover the you see that there is a rubber sealing square with the sound coming off one side that travels and comes on the other side of the cover.
I tested it on a song and covered the the part of the speaker to simulate the rear cover and it sounded normal. after removing the plastic, some of the guitar could barely be heard. |
