I didnt want to mess with the stock look of the battery cover (i kinda like the orange) but i removed the fine mesh black screen on the back of it for the speaker output and that seems to have made a nice difference.

i tried the audiopara files that badboy posted but they didnt seem to make my volume any louder...can someone else give me their input and tell me if it worked for them (specifically for the verizon tp2 with stock rom)

It works on VZW stock rom & MightyRom. My phone is way louder.

I tried all of them when I was using the stock VZ ROM & never heard any difference really.

Now, I am running Mighty ROM & it is louder than it's ever been before for some reason.

The above link is dead, I believe because port 8000 is no longer available...

Here is another link to the same thread... :headbang:

Well, I finally got around to testing and thought I'd share...

I'm on EnergyROM Nov2nd build, soon to be Nov 5th/6th depending on when it releases...

I tried the Audiopara 1 cab with no noticable change... I then installed AudioPara 2 cab and noticed a nice jump in volume...

I'm definitely please with the difference but would love to see a little bit more... I don't use the internal speaker much so I'm hope for future tweeks to increase the volume...

Regarless, if your suffering from low volume syndrome, I recommend testing both AudioPara files to see which works best for your ROM...

Thanks to supdawg for sharing the link...

For those removing the orange tape get prepared to have a different sound output. If you pull off the rear cover the you see that there is a rubber sealing square with the sound coming off one side that travels and comes on the other side of the cover.

I tested it on a song and covered the the part of the speaker to simulate the rear cover and it sounded normal. after removing the plastic, some of the guitar could barely be heard.
