I see the Windows Messenger is pretty nice on the TP2, but is there also a good AIM app? I've a few on my last phones (Octrotalk and Nimbuzz), but didn't care for Nimbuzz, and Octrotalk is no longer free, and I'm not sure the app is worth it. What is good for our phones? Also, is there a way to chat via Facebook? I know the WM Facebook app is lousy, but some way? |
Re: good AIM app?
I use BeeJive and I love it it has multiple custom settings, all the major accounts including AIM MSN GoogleTalk ICQ YahooMessenger and a few others, isn't bad on the battery and best of all it works over your carriers data connection as well as wifi.
You can search here or google for the cab. file let me know what you think and good luck. |

Re: good AIM app?
Maybe its just me but if you run any instant messaging program all day it will kill your battery. This is due to it constantly using your internet connection. Think of it like surfing the internet all day with your phone.

Re: good AIM app?
I like the OZ IM program myself, but have been using Beejive with no problems since I can't get OZ to work on the custom ROMs...
