Any way to get WMP to auto rotate (g sensor)?
Does anyone know of a cab/hack to get Windows Media Player Mobile to use the TP2'S g-sensor to auto rotate the screen? I want to view in landscape mode without having to open the keyboard. Thx!

go here...
use that program...so you can map one of your hard keys to toggle screen rotation. I have my back button set for double click to toggle screen rotation. |
Wirelessly posted (Sprint/1.0/HTC_Touch_Pro2_T7380 Opera/9.50 (Windows NT 5.1; U; en))
You can install G-Config, and add WMP to the list of apps that will rotate. I had this to auto rotate TF3D, but now I'm using the Energyrom leo, so I disabled TF3D (Manilla 2.5 doesn't support landscape). |

Re: Any way to get WMP to auto rotate (g sensor)?
Does anyone know exactly where in the Registry the list of programs which can rotate is located?
Found the keys at HKCU\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\Whitelist Used Jmz and herg62123 Diamond2 G-Sensor.CAB to add a ton of apps to the list. However, IE still doesn't rotate correctly. Almost everything else rotates correctly. The key in the Whitelist is: Internet Explorer REG_SZ IExplore Does anyone know if perhaps with the later OS version the key should be different? |
