Exchange/Facebook contact problem
 

I am pretty sure before i flashed to a new ROM that my contaccts in Exchange were getting their pictures from the Facebook contact they were linked to. Meaning if my wife changed her Facebook picture it would show up in my Exchange contacts. Since i flashed to a new ROM this is not happening. I have gone through and linked the contacts to their Facebook profile but still no go.

Any ideas?

I noticed this too. On my stock Verizon rom, the contact pic would update with the current facebook pic, but now it will only update if there is no current pic.

Also, it doesn't ask me if I want to link the current pic or link the birthday, as it did before.

Did you link yourself to Facebook BEFORE restoring your contacts?

No I did not do that. I am going to reflash tonight and will give that a try.

I got my FB and Exchange contacts to link by first syncing with the Exchange server, then going to "Updates and Events" under the HTC "People" menu. Once there I hit "Menu" to log in to my FB account and hit "Update". After logged in, a button appeared that said something to the effect of "35 contacts to link with FB" which I clicked and then my contacts linked up. It seemed to be very data intensive as my phone was almost unusable for a couple of hours while it was updating all of the contacts/content. Finally, I had to go through and link all of my exchange contact manually that did not have exact matching names. Hope this helps.
