screen saver like from treo pro wm6.1?
I used to wear a huge casio watch that updates automatically daily with ota time servers and was solar. Pretty cool until I realized I looked the the geek that I want to be behind closed doors. :)
When I got the treo pro it had a screen saver that showed the time so I dropped the watch. Felt good actually. I got used to flipping out the treo from my belt clip and checking the time without touching anything. Any idea if we could port that over to the tp2 and would it hurt battery life? Can't wait for extended battery for this thing. What a sweet tool. Also looking for a multiplayer golf game that is wvga if anyone knows. Daryl |

Coming from the Treo Pro, I too miss that option. Just like you, I stopped wearing a watch because of it. It would be a welcome addition on the TP2!

How about using S2U2 with a clock for the screen saver?

I also looked at the SPB Time program. The latest version put back the screen saver function, however it only dims the screen (and for now the phone must be tethered to power.) The neat thing about the Treo Pro (as well as the Treo 800,) the screen was basically off except for black time numbers that jumped around the screen. I guess HTC only put that in at the request of Palm. However I'll still be on the lookout for something similar...
