XDA_UC Question

I'm wondering if it is possible to run XDA_CD using a script or something in a SDCONFIG.txt file for roms that are not XDA_UC compatible?

I thought mightyrom was XDA_UC ready, so I got all my cabs edited to put the shortcuts in the proper folders, hard reset, only to find out that mightyrom isn't XDA_UC ready...

So here is my thought, not sure if its possible, but can I somehow run XDA_UC through my sdconfig.txt file? I know I could just use sd_config but I'd rather not have to make a sdconfig for the 50+ cabs I install... XDA_UC is just so much easier..

Any thoughts?

Re: XDA_UC Question

XDA_UC looks pretty nice. Ill wait until everyone starts using it though. So pretty much you moved all your cabs and now your old sdconfig.txt won't work?

Re: XDA_UC Question

XDA_UC is backwards compatible, so it will also read the SDConfig.txt with files in Cab folder.

Re: XDA_UC Question

There probably is a way to run it using a script, but in the meantime, it's a free app from XDA, so just install that one cab, and then let it run and do the installations for ROMs that don't have it automated... I know Juicy includes it but not sure on others...

I don't know of any cabs to make a sdconfig.txt file. This program is the best you'll get for an automated solution. There is also a link at the top of the thread which details the sdconfig.txt file as well as things you can do using the XML: option.
