Cab to stop wakeup on keyboard slideout?
i've searched everywhere and can't find it....i had it but lost it..My magnetic case keeps turning on my screen and performing my "keyboard slide sound" everytime i move and i find this very annoying and i also believe that my shorter battery life is due to this.
if anyone can link me to the cab i'd really appreciate it....thanks in advance |

Re: Cab to stop wakeup on keyboard slideout?
i'm not that experienced with registry editing but when i get to SlideWakeup, what do i enter exactly for the value???? i'm used to just changing it from 1 to 0 or something like that....i've never seen DWORD before

As stated before HKLM/ HARDWARE/ DEVICEMAP/ KEYBD/ Create a new DWORD (SlideWakeup) with a value of 0 |
Re: Cab to stop wakeup on keyboard slideout?
i changed it and it's still not working. i'm gonna try uninstalling your cab first then change it back to 0 again

Re: Cab to stop wakeup on keyboard slideout?
what cabs do you have installed Custom ROM? what reg editor are you using?
|
Re: Cab to stop wakeup on keyboard slideout?
If you are using winmo6.5 and the lock screen it will continue to turn on your screen as the lock screen interfers with this reg edit. solution is not to use the lock screen.
I'm not aware if 6.1 has the same issue. |
Re: Cab to stop wakeup on keyboard slideout?

Re: Cab to stop wakeup on keyboard slideout?
did you try doing a hard rest and doing the edit right after it loads back up?

|
Re: Cab to stop wakeup on keyboard slideout?
no, it's not working and i'm really not trying to hard reset it again....
i had a cab that worked but i accidently saved it on my device so once i flashed it i lost it |
Re: Cab to stop wakeup on keyboard slideout?
don't know why but it's working now using the cab you provided the second time, i guess it was the default windows lock screen causing the problem..
am i able to use this with S2U2 or no screen locking apps period???? |
