yes and no

no because the sim in the tp2 is a vodaphone sim( verizon's gsm counterpart) it is in the tp2 soley for the reson that some people use the verizon international plans when they go outside the us!!

yes because it is a usable sim card but not for domistic verizon uses (only international vodaphone use)

if using the sim to access the verizon network is what u are looking to do that will not work based on the fact verizon is cdma and uses meids and esn to validate devices and not imei as gsm carriers do!!

fyi vodafone owns %45 of verizon

No i dont think that will work because Sprint validates your phone from the ESN which is embedded into the phone not the sim card. You can try this: take the sim card out of the phone and see if the phone works. if it does ur phone is whats making u get service not the sim.

you can do the exact opposite though..;

you can take an ATT sim and put it into the VZW phone?

is that helps

but gsm sucks .. so why would you want to do that?

because you can use your touhc pro 2 and cancel vzw services temporarily and remain in gsm land
