Weather Clock on a stock sprint TF2

Sorry am a newbie and I searched all over this forum maybe this is a dumb questions... Is there a Cab. to add the Weather clock on a Stock Sprint Rom. ?

I don't think that there is a cab for that. It is a feature from the leo 2.5 manila.

You can get it by flashing Mighty's rom or some of the others. I say mighty's because of personal preference.

It's also in the 2.1 Sense builds, which is what's in MightyMike's ROM

I'm already tired of the weather on the clock. It's beautiful work by someone. But, why you don't update the weather ever 30min, it gets outtawhack. Like when I wake up tomorrow, there will be a moon sitting on my clock telling me its 50 degrees outside, when in acuality, it be a sun with 74 degrees. Kinda useless unless you turn data on to auto update it. I would think most of the power users here whould have that feature turned off.

Certainly odd though, I'm on 2.1 and mine is almost always up to the minute when I look at it. Woke up last night it was on moon, woke up this morning it was on sun...

It is odd to me. Most of the time ppl are looking for ways to clean up the today screen now everyone wants more on it. I think the weather is just clutter on the today screen is there a way to turn it off in the roms with it cooked in?

I just wish there was a CAB for it instead of having to install a new ROM

i found a registry entry that may contain the update interval, but I have no idea how to read the data.

it's a Reg_Binary

I'm on the stock Sprint rom and I got very similar results to yours last night and this morning. When I went to bed last night there was a moon and this morning when I wokd up there was the sun. Except I was actually looking through the window in my room. lol. The only time I use the weather app. is when I am going to a different city or when I'm showing off my phone. I have mine set to manual update. It certainly does have a coolness factor. Looks cool on the home screen.

you are catching it at just the right time then as 2.1 only updates every THREE HOURS (& there is no way to change it, we had a long thread on this recently) so it is a completely useless feature (although it certainly looks cool)

I am running Mighty ROM also, this morning I looked at my weather after I got to work & it still said my home town & temp from hours earlier (& I have auto updates all turned on).

When I hit the weather tab, it immediately switched to the location where I work & jumped up 6 degrees.

I am considering trying Juicy's ROM tonight just to see if the weatheer works better & see if CorePlayer works any better........
