TP2 needs more internal storage - Device memory is low!
 

Whys is my device memory low? My e-mail attachments are saved to the storage card as well as my music, could it be programs? My phone is running slow as a result.

I'm tired of the 256MB storage crap - I wouldn't even use a 256GB storage card! Give me at least 4GB internal storage HTC with a qwerty keyboard (the DIAMOND 2 won't do it for me).

wiw, thats bad, not being a smata$&, did vzw cripple the tp2 also? im never below 112 and i got music and secondtoday with wp on mainmem, did you try tp2 tweaks or the clean up cabs? sktools free up ram maybe help?

Trying saving more of your programs/etc to your memory card instead.

this. i had the same problem. just uninstalled some programs and reinstalled on the card and everything is fine.

i think op's done that, did your hardreset yet? i always do twice before loading anything when i get any ppc. op, ill bet i got waymore apps and games on mainmem and im still way over your numbers.

If you do a hard reset, your problem will be solved... lol.
No. Really I was running into the same issue. I had installed and uninstalled so many cabs that I think I had old program footprints all over the place... so I reset and only installed what I wanted to and installed to the card whenever possible.
No longer an issue.

Seems like a simple thing that most people do but some overlook...Make sure that you have the "x" button set to close when you tap, not just minimize, lose a lot of memory that way if you have a bunch of apps running.

sktools is a must on these devices, helps move,see,clean every app/cab e ct on ppc. lol, op left cause tp2 crashed on him. move where opera cache is stored also.

on fresh first boot i only had 188mb of mem free of 288

I did hard reset when I first got the phone, all my programs are installed on the device (I can't say I don't have a lot), and I did uninstall a few programs, so there may be some footprints. I guess I'll do a PIMbackup, and another hardreset. Kinda sucks since I do have some progress in some games, but whatever. I do also have X to close, and perform a soft reset often. I haven't tried sktools, maybe I'll give it a go before a hard reset
