Snooze options...

Im pretty sure I saw a cab(Id prefer) to get the minute options back when you hit snooze on the stock alarm. I really dont want g alarm or anything else. I hardly use alarms, but damn 5 minutes is not a snooze lol

You don't want a snooze... You want a nap. lol.
Would be nice to customize though.

I found this which might help: http://www.ppcgeeks.com/forums/showt...snooze+options

It brings back the old snooze options, although I'd really like it if you could customize it or even have a "Snooze for..." or "Snooze until..." option that let you specify how long of a snooze you want.

Pull up that liknk and check out those guy's phones... imagio, treo... not sure it applies to our phones... but I can't really tell XDA site is blocked here at work and I don't want to use vtunnel.com . lol
Someone should check it out and see if we can't get the OP his well deserved nap. lol.
Good looking out bro.

Re: Snooze options...

It works for Sprint TP2, however it disables HTC's custom notification for appointments, txtmsgs, and emails. W/o the hack, your screen dims and shows only the notification. With the hack, it reverts to the windows mobile notification with the notification boxes being at the bottom of the screen.

But now I'm able to choose the old school snooze options that actually show up HTC style. if that makes any sense. lol

You seriously want galarm. Perhaps the most useful program I have used to date. It is so customizable, and waking up to your music fading in, instead of blaring alarms is unlike anything else. It's much easier to wake up in the mornings these days.

+1 for galarm. One of the 'Must Have' programs for me.
Been using it since version 1 and just keeps getting better (on v2.2 now).
Leaps and bounds better than stock alarm and has way more options.
Plus for the lazy the puzzle/maze option for snooze is great (have used it numerous times to keep my lazy but from not getting up). :-)

Re: Snooze options...

As I said, I hardly use alarms on this phone. I have a chat program on it and my phone goes off all night(woke up to 83 texts this morning.) I shut my ringer off at night, its just easier to use my N96 for alarms. But the screen is currently acting up on me

Re: Snooze options...

This isn't a 'fix' per se, but a new ROM may add this option back. I know I'm on Juicy's R1 ROM (R2 is now out) and it has the snooze options built in!

This works great, but there is has got to be a way to add snooze times or custom snooze. Anyone know a way?

Yea, I know. I usually do that to make it known that there additional interest in a solution to a particular question. I suppose I could have written "I'm interested in a solution too", but it takes too long. :)

For any one looking for just a simple cab solution that returns the standard 6.1 (minutes, options in snoozing) here ya go. Aditionaly this cab is compatible on any ROM so if your into flashing new roms and just want to keep the standard snooze by minutes options just install the cab after flashing and soft reset. After that you are good to go. Enjoy!

EDIT: Be sure to instal on device and not storage card.(soft reset)
