SPB Shell and Backup with new ROM?
Two simple questions, but maybe they wont be simple answers :-P
1. Once I end up putting on a new ROM, say Juicy or Mighty or whatever, there will be no need for SPB Mobile Shell that I have on now correct, or is it still an addition that can and should be added? 2. Before installing a ROM, I assume the best way to back up stuff is to just back up to card, and then reload the programs one by one you want, or do you suggest to do a fresh install of each program and tweak on the phone? I guess the question is, getting all of the items back on the phone in the easiest cleanest way. Thanks guys! |
Re: SPB Shell and Backup with new ROM?
You can always add SPB mobile shell onto whatever rom your using. Personally, I can't stand tf3d because it takes a lot of gestures to get to simple tasks. I love the personalization of SPB mobile shell.
I also noticed it ran a lot quicker on my TP1 than TF3d but has the same performance with the TP2 Whenever I switched roms I would only backup my contacts through PIMbackup. I would use Sashimi (not sure if its compatible with TP2) to install my programs |
