Quick Question about SIM unlock...
 

Hi all, Im new here so please go easy. I am as patiently waiting as possible for the HSPL like everyone else but i have a quick question first...

I called Verizon and had them unlock my SIM card so that when work sends me away on buisiness I can use other carriers. So my question is when I use HSPL will I have to get the Team Elite SIM unlock as well or will mine still be unlocked from when I called Verizon...

Also If I use HSPL can I call verizon and get the SIM unlock for my brothers phone as well or will only Team Elites work?

Im sure the mods will close this thread any second ... 1st rule of HSPL- Dont talk about HSPL, 2nd rule of HSPL- Dont talk about HSPL , 3rd rule of HSPL - Mods take down any discussion that interrupts the status quo.

notanerd1411, first please excuse the first couple of posters. That's not typcial of what used to go on around here...just a result of some garbage going on for the past week or two! Stick with us....that nonsense should clear itself up soon hopefully!

Anyway, to answer your totally legit questions. First, once your phone is SIM unlocked, it's SIM unlocked. You won't need to do it again. SIM unlocking and the HardSPL unlocker are two totally different animals and not to be confused.

Not too sure what you are really asking with regards your brother's phone though. I can't answer the question on how the HardSPL unlocker will work in terms of "can I use it on my own phone and then on my brothers", if that's what your were asking. However, if you're asking purely about the SIM unlocker, again, it's independant of the HardSPL unlocker, so there is no reason why you can't get Verizon to unlock his too. From there you sort the HSPL out now, later, whenever.

No problem. Keep ignoring the BS for now and you'll find the TP2 forum will start to really fly once 'things' get resolved.
