Anything better than Touch Flo??

Absolutely ! In my opnion, MS3.5 is great. There seems to be a small flaw in that the contacts link from the dialer screen is non functional.

But of course, this is PPC Geeks, so I'm sure that you will find other very strongly worded opinions.

And for those who comment to this, YES, my parents were married when I was born !

I've heard of SPB Shell but never tried it out.

I took the plunge and purchased SPB Mobile Shell 3.5 and all I can say is WOW! What a difference from Touch Flo.

I came from a Blackberry Storm and the one thing I'm used to the most is having the weather on my home screen and being able to glance at my screen to see the temperature with the current conditions outside. You can't do that with the stock TF on the TP2, but you can with SPB MS 3.5.

Another thing that is most pleasing is THERE IS NO LAG! There was constant lag with the TF slider menu on the bottom and in many areas of TF. I haven't seen that yet with SPB MS 3.5. MS 3.5 is very smooth and fast. And also takes up less memory.

With TF on a stock system, my memory was in the high 60's to low 70's. Now my memory is in the high 50's.

I'm in love with MS 3.5. This is the way Windows Mobile phones should look and run. They do offer a free trial so that you can check it out before you buy it. My guess is that you'll have no problems buying it. It was worth every penny. :)

I tried MS for a few weeks & never really liked it (I don't have it installed anymore), but other poeple here seem to like it.

Is that a new feature??

When I was using MS, it never gave the current temp (only the high/low for the day)

Not sure if it's new or not as I'm somewhat new to Windows Mobile phones, but this is what MS 3.5 looks like:

As you can see, it shows the current conditions with the current temperature underneath. You can have it update from anywhere between every 30 minutes to every 24 hours. \\:D/

ok so i'm on a sprint tp2 but how are you running such high memory numbers on a stock system with tf? i mean, everyone sets up their phone a little different, and i totally agree with you that MS is more efficient but i don't think i've seen my phone even close to that number. consistently after a soft reset i'm around 39% and it'll slowly creep up around 45-47% but never over 60 unless i'm keeping a bunch of programs running in the background.

as for MS, it is a nice interface i've used it several times esp when i would get frustrated with touchflo on my tp1. however i prefer touchflo or titanium to MS. i have a few friends that absolutely love it though. it's all a matter of preference but definitely worth trying out.

well, I just installed Mobile Shell... so far looks really really good.... and it's working very quickly.

But I never had issues with TF3D
