Help to disable wakeonsms ...
 

Does anybody know how to disable wakeonsms? I have a Verizon Touch Pro2 and I have navigated in the registry and changed the value to 1, soft reset and the registry did stick but my device still wakes on sms and I am frustrated.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL] DisableSMSWakeUpEvent=1

Probably something simple but I cant see the forest for the trees...

I understand. Bad news so far, I am still searching my phone for some kind of reg tweak but from what others are saying here it look like a no go. Sorry! Im feeling your pain though I hate the fact it wakes up. I want it to make a sound but there is no reason to wake up the screen.
