Keyboard flashing as I type?
 

Anyone else have their keyboard light turn off and on while typing? Is there a fix?

i have the exact same problem...i was thinking it might be that im covering the light sensor when i text but i have no idea...

Happen to me about to weeks ago. Now they light just stop working at all. If I press down hard on the space bar the whole board lights up.

I was thinking the same, since it doesn't always happen. I can't say for sure, but it seems like most of the time I notice it is when I'm in an area of light that's kind of iffy for the sensor, and it could go either way as to whether it needs to light up or not, so that would make sense, as that extra bit of darkness may be messing with it.

go to settings, personal, buttons, backlight and turn that keyboard uto crap off, made my keyboard go wack when ya accidently cover it or its in a half light roon, its just buggy.. maybe thats the issue?

It is definitely the light sensor...they all do it in certain lighting conditions. Try it in a dark room. The light will stay on!

yesss ughh!!! n it does it while im on a call as well!! the screen n light jus keeps flashing!!

do u by any chance kno if i can delete single call entries from my call log instead of deleting ALL??

How much do you use the keyboard normally, and have you noticed much of a change in battery life this way? I'm a pretty heavy texter most of the time and throughout the day, so hadn't tried this yet thinking it may eat up more time on the battery.
