Hard Reset vs Clear Storage esp aft ROM flash
 

Is there a difference between a Hard Reset (with hardware buttons) and Clear Storage (All Settings, System)??

When I was flashing my TouchPro I was always told to hard reset immediately after the RUU is completed. I never waited for the customization to be fully completed.

I did some more reading over in XDA...and it was suggested that the Clear Storage maybe better after you flash a new ROM.

So...hence the question...what, if any, are the differences between hardware button hard reset AND clear storage?

One way can affect QPST settings, the other doesn't so they are not identical procedures.

For all practical purposes, they do the same thing however.
