Device wont connect to computer
 

I had my TP2 working this morning, now all of the sudden it wont connect to my computer.

I connect the device, it beeps like the device is connected, and then a few seconds later there are 3 low beeps. The green Microsoft screen on the computer shows up and says WM 6.1 but then its frozen.

I have no idea what to do to get it to connect. I tried uninstalling all USB drivers on the computer and re-installing, but nothing.

I am going to go ahead and try to uninstall all sync software and then re-install and see what happens.

Try navigating to USB to PC on your TP2...look to see if there is check in the box "Enable Faster Sync"...uncheck it...you should be good to go if that is the culprit. I had a battle with that a few weeks ago...damn, phone is too smart sometimes, lol...hopefully this helps!

It looks like it may have worked. It shows the device now and connects, but I may have to restart it and the computer as I get the windows explorer has stopped responding here and there when I browse files and folders on the device.
