Calendar reminder problem...
 

Question about calendar reminders.

I set a calendar item to remind me 1 hour before the event. When it's 1 hour before the event the reminder comes up, and I dismiss it. Then at the actual event time the reminder comes up again and I have to dismiss it again. Is the how it works for everyone or did I screw something up with a hack I installed? Is there any way to not get alerted at the actual event time, just the time before the event that I set?

That's just how it is. You can set it to NOT remind you but it'll remind you twice if you do set it to that
