Good point mikejones13 I forgot about that. Most of the time it will also be hidden partition on your hard drive with that kind of info as well. On my dell it is a hidden folder with everything I needed.

Yep, only reason I remember is because I just went from vista ultimate to 7 ultimate last night. And the tru way I found it was when I went from vista home to ultimate, last year, lol. Was searching forever and finally just started to look around on C: and bam it was in my FACE, lol

K. Install Windows 7 .. no upgrade.

Then once it is up and running goto your device manager see what things arent working and tghen goto www.toshiba.com and goto support, download drivers, enter in the MODEL of you satellite and you well see the drivers.

download, install enjoy.

There really isn't any risk and yes i think it is worth it. W7 is stable. Alot better than Vista.

Don't get me wrong, I love Windows 7 but this doesnt seem like it belongs in the tp2 forum anymore.

You have the right to what you think. Once I install W7 i will come back in for TP2 support. This might be helpful to more then just me. Thanks for sharing.:-P
