Regarding the actual post content -- Mutiny is exactly right... it cannot be done at this time. It's purely meant as a safeguard for butt dialing.

As for 2.05, a handful of us are testing it for A_C to report results on bug fixes. It DOES fix the landscape issues, false bluetooth indicator, and provides a slight boost in battery life, but 2.04 doesn't cause a true drain unless you're just unable to pay attention to power management details and turn on every last option possible.

Does anyone know of a default lock program replacement? I've been reading up on it and it appears to be non-trivial as it has to handle the encryption and everything.

Or will 6.5 fix it with a better program? This is really my only complaint against this phone.

thanks,
dave

6.5 has a built in slide to lock, as far as i can tell.

i appreciate your input but all i use it for is strictly the slide to unlock (no options on) and i still have a terrible battery drainage problem...ive even used ur version with the preset "power" options but still have the problem...have u updated those options recently???
