Hey guys/girls

I was wondering if anyone has thought about having the ability through an ROM or an application to be able to view my cell phone screen on my computer screen while it is connected via activesync????

Often time when i am at my desk for a long time.. i would much rather use my keyboard on my computer then keep picking up my TP2 everytime a get a text message....

Thoughts ?

There used to be a program for this called remote display and worked through activesync just like you described, but it lost all stability when used on my 6800 and newer versions of activesync and I haven't used it since. I'm definitely interested to hear if theres a new version.

Agreed, I have used MyMobiler for the past two years and I am very happy with it. It has a lot of functionality, I love checking my voicemail with the phone's speakerphone without ever picking up the phone.

For being FREE, My Mobiler is really fantastic. So much better than the remotedisp of old. Thanks for the link.

Did anyone notice that if you type too fast it doesn't register all your keystrokes on the phone?

However I have used it since 2006 bought a licensed coppy once and Ive been good to go ever since. It even upgraded for free under original licence. Works great with all phones, and allows you to file explor/sync, reg edit, and capture/print. I can make the screen many sizes as well on my pc's display. link I porvided was the
1st find on a bing search, whoever it may be cheaper if you search on your own. By the way Handango always has discounts if you sighn up to recieve discount emails you'll get your disount coupon soon after. For any one who is intrested in somthing diffrent, this may work for you.

I also use MyMobiler. Copying & pasting between phone & PC is great, as is using my main keyboard & mouse to handle text messages, tasks, etc., while at work.

I have used mymobiler with great success, but I have been using this one for while and I think it is better. It gives more control of your device via PC.

So, I was excited to see the enthusiastic recommendation. I've installed mymobiler on my pc (win7). I rebooted, connected my phone to Windows Mobile Device Center, it syncs, I try to connect MyMobiler and it does not connect and in turn disconnects my phone from WMDC. How do you get this thing set up and working???
