exactly, or it will auto update so i think if you just have it on it will work automatically so who cares the resolution.

if you throw a smaller screen app on a wvga screen it will only show up in 1 corner of the screen and everything is small as hell. Thats what I found at least. But ya, if run it, it just updates the TOWERS around you or in your area.....not to sure. So you can get a quicker qps signal.

I am looking for the WVGA version of QuickGPS also. I have an OEM but I would like a CAB. Anyone have it or find it?

Not sure if this is all of the files or if the install process does registry entries, but here are the Quickgps files I could find, check it out if you want.

Just unzip and drop all of them into your device/windows folder and then copy or drop a copy of the "quickgps.lnk" into device/windows/start menu/programs folder to make a start menu shortcut...

You could alternately install the vga version first then drop these files in, in case there are needed registry entries created during a regular install.

I tried this... extracted all to windows directory on my phone. Made the shortcut and it didn't work. I installed the QuickGPS VGA cab install and tried to run the quickgps.exe... still nothing.

Anyone have a working QuickGPS WVGA cab install? Please post if you do thanks.
