Andreas Falke Weather Database
 

Hello all!

This app works fine on my Touch Pro (Sprint) but when i install it on my Sprint Touch Pro2 and then go to the weather tab, it just re-loads TF3 and goes to the home screen.

Does anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks for any help in advance.

take a look at Conflippers weather for TF3D, it's got every city preloaded. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=81108

Not sure if that's what you're looking for, but it works great on the TP2.

Does it integrate cities into existing TF3D weather like Andreas? I wil check it out. I appreciate your help in responding to my post.

Your post says eagerly awaiting unlock. The Sprint TP2 cannot be unlocked to apply a ROM? I just got mine yesterday and was going to read up on how to do that.

The unlocker hasn't been released to us yet. As fas as I know they were still testing, But it should be here 1-2 days.

Cool! I will look out for it. I assume you run the app then you can install a custom ROM. I would love to see a ROM that has all of Sprint's app's as well as build 1919 with the color tabs, animated weather on home screen and Win 6.5.1 with deeper TF3D interface

Conflippers is a nice program. I am amazed by it having even very small cities around where I live. The only thing is I no longer see the weather in the calendar tab for today. is this a known issue?

Yeah it's pretty impressive with all of the towns/cities listed. As far as the weather in the calendar tab, I'm not sure as I typically don't use that so I'm not sure what stock did or didn't do. And keep your fingers crossed on the unlocker... hopefully today or tomorrow!!!

I had been using conflippers weather app and liked it, but my TP2 won't update weather information anymore. I get an error message that says there was a "connection error while attempting to download weather data" and I can't use weather anymore because it won't update. Any ideas?

I'm not sure what Conflipper's is...might be the same thing as this, but I used this CAB on my TP1 with all the Manila 2.x ROMs, and it works perfectly on the TP2 as well. Adds all USA cities to the database. Attached.

EDIT: And yes, this does the weather in the calendar tab.
