How to Stream .mov Audio Link on TP2

I have been unable to open and play a link to a .mov streaming audio file. The file is available either with http or rtsp prefix.
I have tried TCPMP, Core Player and HTC Streaming Media. I get various error messages that generally say the format is unsupported. Should one of these work or do I need a different player?
Thanks for any help.

Hi, The link is intended for a limited distribution so I sent it to you in a private message. This is actually a video not audio but I'm having the same problem and the server is exactly the same. Thanks for your help.

Re: How to Stream .mov Audio Link on TP2 - SOLUTION!!!

With the great help of Kinoma Play tech support I found a solution. There doesn't seem to be a player that will open the kind of .mov file I was trying to stream- reference file they called it - but here is a workaround that lets you play the rtsp link for .mov file from Open URL in Kinoma Play. It also works in CorePlayer.
  • First save the .MOV file to your computer by opening the file in Firefox.
  • Open "Page Information"
  • Click on Media tab
  • That will show the file allow you to save it. (you can't do a straight save form the browser.)
  • Next open Notepad on your computer.
  • Select "all files (*.*)". Open the file and you'll see the RTSP link to type or paste into Open URL.

Be nice if there were a more elegant solution. Don't know how many people get links to streams like this but hopefully this will help someone out.
