It will be out someday... I have done a considerable amount of customization without a ROM, with the help of modders on this forum. Though I look forward to the HardSPL, I don't look forward to getting everything just right, again :)

I'm not sure either...but I think he/she is saying that all they can see is D*CK instead of the unlocker. Is that supposed to be funny... I dont know.

Anyway..... What I don't understand is if the Elite Team have flashed the HSPL and they have custom ROMs running just fine, why is it not out right now? What other testing do they do?

Ive asking myself the same question! I think i really am starting to go insane from not understanding whats going on....

what that means is that there is an empty place where there unlocker is supposed to be, i.e. nothing there

I'm excited, but I can wait. The TP2 has actually made me enjoy the stability of WM6.1, since all I really like about 6.5 is the kinetic scrolling. Maybe I'll be more excited when WM7 gets leaked.

I'd rather have them stress test it all and not have them release it until its failsafe. I don't want my brand new Touch Pro2 to end up as a paperweight thank you.

i am a software developer foremost... i would assume they want to release it when they know it works in most instances. they dont want anyone to brick a phone. allthough they like what they do there is a bit of a burden. let em do what they do

I hope it does not released until Thursday when I get my new Touch Pro 2. Haha, I do not want any one getting a jump on me. =P

On another note I hope there will be a way to make GSM radio on the Touch Pro 2 for Sprint eventually work on US Tmobile. Then I can get rid of my Hermes.

what are you talking about? it is the same spl that you have on your device right now except couple of jump instructions changed to bypass security. there are only two cases to test, #1 can you load it on the device #2 will it let you load unsigned roms.
you can't stress test anything else.

I'm feelin your train of thought there, brotha! LOL. My TP2 is all chewed up (literally), so I gotta figure out a way to get a new one. What was wrong with yours? And how'd you go about getting a 'new' one?

Edit: when you said, "new", did you mean 'new to you'...as in Thursday will be your first time ever having the device? Or were you referring to a replacement tp2? Please excuse my presumptions.

If it's as easy as you say why don't you make the hspl?

It is actually disapointing that it has not been released yet or even a post regarding it. If anyone encountered any issues they should post and let us know it might be delayed, if not, then release the thing already........

When it comes to OS's from Microsoft, or ROMs from Sprint or another carrier being leaked to the public, everyone is okay with it and it is actual what we wait for. At this point I wouldn't mind seeing the unlocker leaked already!

My theory is it was released privately to some chefs/beta testers to make sure it works, especially with that radio issue that was found.

Technically speaking, it was posted on the 19th at 7:45am. So 2 days from that would have been 7:45am this morning.........Non technical, would be sometime today.

For all those posting that it need to go through testing, blah, blah, blah, don't forget cmonex has a Sprint TP2 and I am sure it has been put through all of the necassary tests already.....It's not like this is her first time doing this............

So can anyone on the elite team let us know if this is coming out today? Or are none of you aloud to speak either?

Anyway we can start a forum riot if it doesn't come out???? J/K

I meant testing for the radio issue. That would make me cautious, I'm sure she doesn't want the possible backlash if it bricks devices. Just because she has a TP2, doesn't mean she had the time (or will) to test variable pieces of software.

i am still waiting but am seriously wondering why it hasnt been released. theyve tested it on all 3 cdma devices and they were all able to be flashed. now its the elite team holding out, i wonder what the reason is. i hope they are not trying to build anticipation with a news article, that would be gay, release this to us and let us get to flashing.

I am sure they have real jobs besides playing with their phones all day. :)

Ah, first time getting a TP2 and free to boot. Meh, just as I got my hybrid visual kitchen as perfect as it can be. Now it is time for new dpi source, fun... =)
