I would love to remove the speaker icon from my today screen. This is of little use to me since the side buttons accomplish the same thing. Thanks

Are you looking to remove the speaker icon only? Dont forget that it also displays silent and vibrate mode. I think a cool idea would to add number value instead of the speaker icon...I always forget what level I set it too and most of the time my ringer scares the crap out of me. lol

i can modify the dll to only display the vib icon and leave the rest blank...if you can wait a few hours

Does that mean that nothing will appear unless the phone is set to vibrate? If so that would be great.
