I have 21859 ready to play with for now. I'm still learning to transition to Visual Kitchen and stuff, but after that I'll move onto 6.5.1 SYS

i hear you. i have 6.5.1 build ready but i dont know if it will work because i had to convert a vga sys to wvga but i dont know if i did it right. i couldnt find a 23064 wvga visual sys. if my converted sys doesnt work, i do have a very stable 21847 sys ready to go.

i find it weired that we did not get the news from a listed elite team member.

may be cmonex is the only one left in the team and that is why it is taking long.

it goes back to one of my earlier post either in this thread or another thread. the elite team has nothing to do with the unlocker. people keep blaming them for not posting updates but cmonex is working on that by herself and will upload it when she is done.

Sorry for sounding like a damp rag, but I've been a reader on the side lines here for a few weeks now. I've gotten comfy with the lingo and most of the programs available for these phones by now(still have lots to learn though). This is my first WM phone and so far I'm really happy with it and all that it'll do (and again lots to learn).

So, please excuse this question if it borders on blasphemy on this forum, but; Are these custom Roms THIS much better they warrant you guys going ape-sh*t like this over them? I guess I'll find out for myself and the suspense is KILLIN me!

I didn't know the Pinto is an Amazing vehicle!

What the unlocker means is that we are not limited to what Sprint and HTC want to give us. We can know grab anything and put it on there. It also makes the official WM 6.5 upgrade irrevelant as there are newer versions of 6.5 with more features then they are going to officially give us anyway.

Just so you know, not every ROM is going to be paradise though. With new features and the latest technology, also means alot of new bugs and issues. It will become an addiction and just when you think you are settled on a ROM, soemthing new comes out and will just just need to have it......

surprisingly I found that 23071 on my verizon touch pro to have better rendering and much faster as far as oses goes, but there is a slightly bigger battery drain than 23064 sadly...

thanks noir. I also have that xip so i'm going to use this. I greately appreciate it. i'm not worried about the manilla files because i will not even install that on my tp2, I don't like manilla and the manilla files are what takes up the most space. once again thanks because i've been searching everywhere.

When the Hardspl is released will any of you flash it right away or wait until others do it to make sure its safe and don't brick your TP2!!!

I for one will probably wait for feedback!!!

you can not brick your phone flashing the hspl. if it bricks during that then the unlocker is done and won't be posted. People will brick their phones while trying to flash certain roms. This is expected but is easily fixed. If i brick my phone all i have to do is flash a working rom or the stock rom and it will not be bricked anymore. its not a big deal, don't worry about your phone, it will be ok. I promise you the second the unlocker is up i'm flashing my phone. I will leave work the second its posted if i'm at work, just because i won't be able to concentrate on anything plus getting the perfect rom is going to take me a couple of hours

flash right away and test a rom I'm making
if I have a solid base I can make cosmetic changes later
also test some other roms
but surprisingly I'm not seeing an influx of manila 2.5 roms..

Really!!! I didn't know that thanks, I always hear about people bricking there phones while relocking it, I figured its the same unlocking it.
