Custom Taskbars
 

So I absolutely HATE the stock taskbar, especially the colored windows logo. I have tried several custom taskbars, but not a single one has worked correctly. They have all put the same, weird icon where the signal icon should be, it looks like a sim card with an x. Is this because I don't have a sim card in the phone? Sprint didn't give me one when they swapped my TP1.

Every taskbar I tried has broken some functionality (like the start menu). Ill wait for HSPL and some custom ROMs. Do a search for tsowen's taskbars since they are really good.

I would think so. Ill take mine out to see if I get the same thing.

Im sorry you guys have had issues, but Ive tried a few taskbars and they have worked well.

Right now I am using CMYLXGO's taskbar... which can be found in his post HERE

Yes it's because you don't have a sim installed. mine did the same thing, but Telus gives a SIm with their TP2...

Well as far as I know I was supposed to get one, but didn't because I didn't receive a retail package. They just took my phone and gave me a TP2. I'm going to go back to the store tomorrow and request a sim card, hopefully this will fix the issue. Why does it only show this icon when I install a taskbar though?

That's a good questions, as mine did it right out of the box, so i don't know then...
