Slide 2 Unlock prgram from 6.5
 

hello all...i was wondering if there is a way to get the slide to unlock program off of the 6.5 upgrade so we can use it on 6.1...this would be great bc ive heard its a very lightweight program and im afrad that S2U2 is draining my battery...and help would be greatly appreciated

I'm using s2u2 and I don't have any issues with it. Battery doesn't drain anymore then it normally did. If you want the look and feel of it, I'd say just customize it to look like it. Other then that I don't think it's being ported because we're so close to a 6.5 release.

I'm not sure the answer is that simple.
I've also tried S2U2 and it drains my battery as well. I've tried all the battery saving tweaks and none of them work. I lose about 10% of my battery oer hour when in standby using S2U2 and I can't figure out why.

yea my battery definitely drains a lot faster with s2u2

cant that slide 2 unlock program be extracted from the imagio to the tp2? or is it a winmo 6.5 specific thing? s2u2 killed the battery on my tp1 when i had it installed so i removed and never used it since it would kill my battery within a hour on my tp1.

well im glad im not the only one who has the problem of s2u2 draining my battery..any fixes that anyone knows of

hmm... strange, must be one of the settings in s2u2, or it could be something else like push internet or an instant messenger client because I've had no issues with s2u2 and battery life.

I know that it turns the screen on when a message is received, or if anything happens, really. you might try disabling that. if nothing else, do what I did and remember to consciously keep hitting the top button when s2u2 wakes the device back up.

It is integrated in with the OS of WM6.5. You could try pocketshield, its half off now and a new version came out.
