Favorite Contacts Disappear
 

Hey guys! I've been a member here for a few weeks now and so far any question I have had has been asked and answered by all the other awesome users out there. This leads me to my question.

In Touchflo3D, Has anyone had their My Favorites Tab contents erased? I don't mean the tab is gone but just all the contacts that were set to Favorites no longer appear as Favorites? It happens after every power cycle/soft reset.

I know some users on other HTC devices have been having problems with the contact pictures being blurry and having to constantly resize them? Is there anyway that these two problems could be related?

Here's to hoping someone much smarter than me can figure this one out.

I had this happening to me before as well.. I chalked it up eventually to gmail syncing my contacts incorrectly. After I redid that (without contacts set to sync) I haven't had any issues at all..

When I tried that it erased all of my contacts (because I use google sync alone for my contact list). Is there any easy way around this or would I have to manually import all of my contacts? Also I don't have Outlook on my computers (too much space).

I used SPB backup to make a backup of my contacts first. That way when I got rid of the sync for the contacts I could restore it from that. You could try any free alternatives as well; I'm sure that would work just as easily. You can try PIM Backup here: http://www.dotfred.net/default.htm

Thanks WythDryden, I tried your method and it worked. Thanks. Now if only someone can find away to have google contacts sync without screwing up the phones contacts it would be awesome.

I'd also like o be in the loop if anyone had found any workaround for the google sync issue.
