Unlocker or upgrade from carrier?
 

We dont even have the unlocker yet and TP2 is the second most viewing sub forum. While we all waiting patiently for the unlocker and carrier upgrade to 6.5. Which one are we going to get first, Unlocker or upgrade from carrier?

my bet is the hspl, almost with out a doubt. i have little faith in verizon

Was thinking unlocker, but that seems to have hit a brick wall.

Cmonex actually has a device and has successfully unlocked the phone, she just needs to get past the fix in the newer firmware. With the way things are going, I would say unlocker. Even if the upgrade comes out, I will wait for the unlocker cause I wouldn't want to hard reset twice.

Definitely believing in CMONEX and team getting the HSPL done before Big Red or Sprint get their crap together about the upgrades.

However, I'm probably gonna wait for the official upgrade first before unlocking and start flashing.

normally i would put my money on the hspl, unfortunately im begining to lose faith. i think we'll see something from sprint first...unless cmonex wants to prove me wrong ;)

... And the gauntlet has been thrown... i'm almost positive that well get the unlocker first... thats pretty much how its gone in the past.

here i s my thoughts .... i had issue unlocking pro 1 with new stock rom and radio on it. couldn't get it to go 3 machines. xp vista and 7. so i did it manually from sd card.went with out a issue. does the new tp2 unlocker work this way. cause if the only way to unlock or lock is by sd im cool with it....

As long as don't want to upgrade to new firmware, I think maybe can share HSPL unlocker to us if it works. thanks!

According to the latest information from Cmonex, as of 10/17, I'd say the unlocker will be here first.
