Landscape or no-landscape

Just will like to know when the smokes settles from when the hardSPL reaches what particular version of manila will everyone be oushing for:
version 2.1 w/sense UI
version 2.5 (build 1919) thats has no landscape or 2.6 which is more updated.
Question how many times during regular use that you go into landscape other than texting, surfing, music or photos. Just inquiring, maybe some chefs will look at this and design one on either side of the spectrum.
