Sorry if this has been asked and answered already but how do I access the registry on my HTC touch pro 2?

You can download and use a free product like PHM Regedit or Total Commander. Both of these can be found on this forum, just do a quick search and you will find a few cab files.

you can edit the registry via activesync with mobile registry editor
