Remote Desktop

Is there a way to make the Remote Desktop screen zoom in like on the other WM6 devices did? I used that quite often and would like to again, especially on this bigger screen! However, it is much to small to really see.

Anyone know of a solution, workaround, different app?

Try using www.logmein.com as an alternative. It requires the original pocketIE and another program like kfortp to enable the keyboard to work properly, but it works well. I'm rushing out the door or I'd find the links for you.

Logmein should work for you.

Unless you hate logmein as I do.

I don't really care for it. I was hoping that there was a way to zoom in on Remote Desktop as with other WM6.1 phones...

Has anyone else noticed that their Remote Desktop doesn't zoom, thus making it pretty much useless?

it should zoom...
my TP2 is dead right now, lemma try it in the morning, and then I will get back to you.

But I stopped using RDP, logmein is free, and so much easier to use!

Re: Remote Desktop

I use RDP from my TP2 all the time and it does not allow me to zoom like it did with my xv6700 (Apache) from HTC. So not sure what has changed. It pretty much makes RDP useless as it really makes it hard to do anything with RDP.
Another annoying issue is the drop down box for RDP (the IP Address) doesn't remember anything but the last connected string. So if you have multiple ips:ports you hit, hope you remember all the IP:Port combinations cause the phone sure doesn't.

Re: Remote Desktop

It does on mine... The drop down box doesn't display a drop down but if you use the keyboard's up/down arrows, it will cycle through your alternate connections.

The main issue I have with RD on my TP2 is that I get an error message everytime I close the program. Otherwise it's working great (and fast!). Zooming would be a nice feature. Some of you said RD zooming works with other devices?
