TP2 Text Message Sound Not Playing in tf3d
 

So I just turned on my TP2 this morn - I was surprised how much they updated the stock rom over the previous tp1 stock rom. Anyway I like how everything has some kind of lay-over the windows mobile interface. My question is if I go to a txt message in tf3d, I click on it and it brings up the conversion with that contact in tf3d which I like but I notice if I leave it on this screen like if I am chatting with someone my phone won't play an incoming text sound when this screen is up - any ideas?

I have the same problem. I have gone to the sound settings and hit the play button and it does sound but not when there's an incoming text or sms.

Make sure that the Notifications (alarms, reminders) has a check mark under the Programs section in Sounds & Notifications. I totally forgot to check this.

I checked the notifications and they are checked. Weird - it seems to be working right now - I do have the phone plugged in - the phone was asleep and lit up and played my text sound while on tf3d. I will try it later with the phone on bat... It wasn't working before - I wonder if I had it on vibrate - pretty sure I didn't - odd

grrr - now I just tried it in landscape mode and it didn't work - I flipped it back and it's working again (I still have the phone plugged in)

The notifications are pretty buggy on this phone; I'm not sure if it's related to TF3D or Windows or a combination of both.
