sorry i must clarify my problem isnt with manilla sms as i rarely use.its with threaded.in threaded sms if i have 3 unread text by the same person when i reply and come out of the convo it will state i have 2 unread.on my tp once i reply since all 3 would be from same person they would all be marked as read

ok i have a fix for that too...and i posted it somewhere on here...extract and copy the htmlnote.dll into your windows directory overwriting the original...you must have resco explorer or total commander to do this

Hey Juggs,

I just tried this fix on latest mighty build - (12-06-09) It broke my sms - couldn't open any messages and I couldn't uninstall it because it wasn't listed so I had to hard reset. I hate this sms bug so much it drives me crazy and I can't seem to find a real working fix. I want it to work like my TP1 use to (when you replied it would mark them as read)

This is such an awful feature why would they make it like this for. You have any idea juggs on good fix that works on mighty? I would appreciate it so very much!

if you are using manilla 2.5, this will break your sms with no way to uninstall. Do not use if you use sense 2.5.

I've noticed this problem occurs when you apply the zeenyee patch to take away the htc messaging client. When i run htc client for receiving mms and use smms to send mms instead of using the patch I do not get that unread message. if this problem only happens once in awhile and you want to remove the unread message, just run this cab and it will fix the problem.

I forgot to mention soft reset after running cab.
