Re: HTC Pro 2 for $49 with New Plan.
Some have been asking if you can get this deal if you add a line. Honestly, I don't know. I bough mine through the www.sprint.com/citigroup page. I guess sprint figured out what people were doing and locked it down. I was lucky to get the deal.

Re: HTC Pro 2 for $49 with New Plan.
I added a line almost a month ago with this deal ($49 after $100 rebate). However, I ended up getting it for $99 plus there is a $100 mail in rebate. Sprint charged me $99 (plus tax) and this company was supposed to charge me $50 from what other FW'ers said, but it never happened.Right before I ordered, they had it for free after rebate, so I suspect my order got put in that category somehow.
One warning though...I had SERO on my primary line and adding this deal as a 2nd line turned my whole account into a corporate individual acct. The deal gets you a discount (14% I believe) as a Remax employee. It took me 3 days to get this fixed as I decided to turn my two lines into one of those new SERO (EPRP) plans so I could share the minutes. You can't move an existing plan to an EPRP plan unless you are currently SERO and since adding the line took me off of SERO, it was a royal pain getting it fixed. One interesting thing though was that my primary stayed the same price after changing to Corp individual and was no different than it was before except that it didn't have the SERO label on it. If I hadn't wanted a shared family plan, this would have been a plus IMO since there wouldn't be any issues with corp discounts since it wasn't technically a SERO acct any longer. |

On top of that, I have another TP2 on order to replace my TP1 free of charge. My TP1 worked pretty well unless I was on a long call (~1.5 hours) or heavy Internet surfing that long (found out in waiting room at hospital). Phone gets hot, keyboard flakes out and eventually locks up. Works fine on shorter calls though. My TP2 doesn't have that issue, so I am happy. |
Re: HTC Pro 2 for $49 with New Plan.
Damnit man... just my luck I JUST bought the TP like 4 months ago and wont be available for a upgrade for a while. I'd jump on this just because its cheap if I could.
