Looks like some more stock has arrived at Verizons warehouses today. As they called me and are sending out my replacement finally for dead pixels(13 of them).

Nice pickup. Already got mine though. Might return it cause I got some stuck pixels, but they only show using the camera test.

I just ordered my TP2 about an hour ago. From my understanding, it seems that if you're not eligible for an upgrade, then you're not getting a TP2 right now until inventory gets replenished. She did say that stock levels were still low.

Unfortunately, she forgot to ask me about shipping options before she put the order through, so I won't get my TP2 until Monday. Not gonna complain too much since the phone is finally on it's way and that's one less thing to stress about. :D

I got mine shipped overnight for free. You should be getting it either tomorrow or Friday.

I just called Verizon today and they are sending me out my replacement device and I will have it Friday. Mine had a defect in using Video Out.

Nah. She shipped it 2-day and since it was ordered after 5pm, it won't ship until tomorrow and therefore won't arrive until Monday.

I've already received my tracking number! I'm excited! I'll be receiving it tomorrow... that'll give me the weekend to play with it!

Quid, try a different Zip code until it shows stock, or just call Tech Suppport and they can check the warehouses.

Well, looks like it's on the site now. I tried calling TeleSales and doing an outright no-contract buy on the phone ($489)... but because I am in Canada, they said they can only sell to Verizon customers.

They also suggested finding out if any of my US friends have Verizon, I know a few people... but don't want to trouble them.

If I am doing an outright buy, I can't see how this would make any difference?

I was able to finally get my TP2 replaced with a NEW one. I contacted them 10/2 to report my keyboard backlight not working unless the screen is tilted up. I have been waiting all this time. They were actually good with email communication. I replied to have them call me to order a replacement. They did, however tried to still send me a refurb, while playing dumb to all the notes on my account...
Anyway it looks like its on the way.

So...anyone get theirs yet? Kinda hoping the guy I talked to was right and these have 6.5...and he didn't mean a future batch of them.

Do you have any problems with it? Stuck pixels, etc? Battery cover seem like it may not have the looseness/extra spacebar click issue?

Hinge looser than normal but well within tolerance and one baby white pixel on black screen. She's a keeper.

Ahhh... FFS.

When it's in stock VZW wants me as a Canadian to jump through hoops, even when I want to pay full retail.

Once I've jumped through the hoops, it's OOS again.

I got my repacement TP2 yesterday. Everything checks out in working condition which is good. I have not activated it yet as I am waiting for HSPL to flash WM6.5, etc. So, I dont know how if the problem with dropping to 1X has changed. My first phone ordered on the VZW release day manufacture date was 9/1/09 and this new one is 10/2/09.
