Strange issue with TP2
 

I uninstalled Garmin (because I finally got Igo8 to work!) and now a few weird things are happening:

1) If I hit the call button, I get the old 6.1 dialer (not the touch flo dialer
2) Under the people tab of the main UI, if I click the call button, no action is taken. This happens for everyone that is listed there.
3) From there, if I click all contacts, and then click a contact name and then click "Call Mobile" no action is taken again!

What's going on? Anyone figure this out? Or is it time for my first hard-reset already?

EDIT: I also un-installed PocketShield recently, which was the cause of my issues. Big thanks to tool2269. See his post for further information.

this may be totally unrelated but did you ever install pocketshield?

I did and that messed up my dialer. I had to go into pocketshield settings, disable the WM dialer under phone settings/slide to answer, then uninstall pocketshield.

YES!! I DID!!

I uninstalled it though. I'll try to install it, then disable WM dialer. and try to uninstall.

yeah man but i also have bad news.. I did the same as you, installed it, selected the 'slide to answer'/use WM dialer, then later uninstalled PocketShield(PS). thats when i noticed my dialer issues.


So i tried installing PS, unchecking the slide to answer/WM dialer options, then tried uninstalling. The default WM dialer stayed and I was forced to do a hard reset. HOPEFULLY that doesnt happen to you.

Such a horrible bug PocketShield caused.
