OMG no! My God I hate that blinking green LED. NueLED solved that on my Mogul I didn't think the TP2 would have that. Man that thing is annoying especially at the movies if you have to take it out to look at a missed call or anything.

My light blinks green when I have a new SMS/MMS, red when battery is critically low, orange when just low. Solid yellow when charging, green when charged. I don't sync email automatically and haven't gotten any missed calls yet, so I don't know if it blinks for those or not.

you can edit the registry to allow you to change the greyed out settings under sounds & notifications. I set mine up so it only flashes for text messages and missed calls but you should be able to assign anything from the drop down box once configured

Same here. Mine does blink green for missed calls. The only gripe I have with the notification light is when the phone is charging. The light stays solid orange and does not change for missed calls, texts, emails, etc.

It only blinks if you have notifications, unlike the Mogul that blinked constantly to let you know that you had a connection to Sprint or something along those lines. Also the LED is much smaller on the TP2 and less obtrusive than it was on the Mogul.

I'm looking to TURN OFF the blinking LED for new e-mails. (Verizon, 6.5) "Flashing light" is greyed out under sounds and notifications. Anyone know where this key is in the registry?

I came from the Mogul tool, why can't the TP2 be controlled for what color does what? I think TP2 has green, orange, red, blue available plus two LED on top.

OK, here's a .cab I used to open up some of the notification controls. Not mine, just passing on some of Juggalo's work that worked for me. Allows a little more control over the norification light. Not colors, but at least you can control when it blinks and when it doesn't.

I am surprised that 1. it isnt white, or blue, and 2. that it doesnt pulsate ala TP1, it seems a little crude for a high tech phone and at what cost? Wouldnt have been anything to supe that thing up from the blueprint stage. Anyhow, it reminds me of my old Nextel i1000
