This is a major upset, I am pissed. If they don't properly update Touch Flo 3D.

the guys at XDA Devs installed the 6.5 Europe ROM and it has no Manila 2.5

Not sure,possibly the same manila updates as the Euro version, but that's what the hard-spl is for:)

I would agree about it being a major upset, but they already have an unlocker and in time so will we. Once we have an unlocker it won't matter what Sprint/VZW put in their update.

this is already known that we will not get tf3d 2.5. The only update to touch flo that we are getting is the weather on the home tab thats it. Like everyone else said wait for the unlocker then you will be good to go.

You have nothing to worry about, like what other people said, thats why we have an unlocker and for the most part there are already roms that are cooked with 2.5 and we just need to unlock the phone to flash them and test them out.

I still have my diamond laying around that I flash still, I also been flashing my tp1 that I have on my other line of service that I will have to replace yet again so maybe I can get another tp2 out of that one.

A guy on FB today flashed to the updated 6.5 rom. It was 170mb and he was very clear that it did in fact have the same UI as the Leo/Hero. Maybe it's different for each carrier.. Not sure, but like everyone here I am waiting on the unlocker.

Yeah i had to start flashing my tp1 to get the ich out. Whats so lovely is i got to play with the 23060 rom and i love it, stock 6.5 wouldn't even be acceptable anymore. I'm loving it so much i'm thinking about activating my tp1 in the mean time. I honestly don't think the unlocker isn't coming for a couple more weaks, so im back to my tp1. I hate touchflo and as we all know running 6.1 without tf3d isn't even an option.

Basically I am waiting for the official WM 6.5 flash from HTC

then I really want to get rid of Touch Flo 3D 2.1 its horrible.

I want 2.5 or 2.6

This is a bummer for me, I was really wanting the new TouchFlo/Sense from an official update. I have absolutely no desire to unlock my phone and start flashing ROMS again since I had my Diamond so this is disheartening.

its a modified manila 2.1 that incorporates the sense ui as well as animated background
as far as what is incorporated, beyond clock and weather I don't see any major changes. They are relatively constant with that of 2.1
as was stated by con in another thread
manila 2.5 is for our devices (HD/tp2/td2) and manila 2.6 is for the htc qilin (sp) and will not work on our devices due to the processor differences

all that said is this
wait for the unlocker...wm 6.1 is bearable with htc setup...or do like me rip the shipped rom, pop it in an empty ervius kitchen, make some regedits/customization, and boom make a new rom and test it in a virtual environment...

could be worse...

It sort of sucks that I was able to have more features on my Touch Pro than on my Touch Pro 2. (Because I flashed to a custom ROM)

Would love for that unlocker to come out soon!

manila 2.5 was not designed for tp2's. it was designed for the leo. it has no landscape except for the music and photos tabs. it really should not come as a suprise that the official rom wont include 2.5 but merely an updated version of 2.1.

rotastrain did do a landscape mod for x1 ideally it would work for tp2...

yeah a member at xda did it not htc. this is like getting upset because htc didnt give us manila 2.1 on the original tp's

tf3d 2.5 wasn't made for tp2, and i believe it will run slow without snapdragon.... i need my tp2 to perform as good, or better than 6.1... if not, what's the point?

Exactly. I don't get why the OP is pissed. TF3D 2.5 runs much slower than TF3D 2.1 ask anyone who's flashed a GSM rom and they'll tell you the same.

And also Exactly Rotastrain did it not HTC. Honestly there's no reason for landscape TF3D on a device that will most likely be used in the portrait position 90% of the time. Kind of like how the Diamond only had a portrait mode and the TP had a shortcut menu only in landscape. My my how quickly people forget how are devices used to be.
