Notifications driving me crazy

So far I love the TP2. I am moving from a Samsung Saga. Like the Saga (and all other WM devices) I can't handle the constant notifications poping up. With the SAGA they were anoying balloons, with the TP2 they are full screen (black with DISMISS or DISMISS ALL buttons).

During a telephone call, they actually interrupt the audio of the call and/or get in the way of using the dial pad when working in voicemail or IVR prompts. You can't END or ANSWER a call with one of the damned modal full screen notifications showing!

To make matters worse, on top of all the normal notifications, VZW/HTC has added customer feedback notifications and other nonsense.

Help me make them go away!

I looked at the "TP2 cleanup" thread, but frankly don't care for 80% of the mods that it installs. I need direct push and many of the other features it disables.

Thanks in advance!

I understand what you are sayin...

I hate the flashing green light that won't quit until you touch a couple of screens.

In the time it took you to type up and post all that, and then wait for a response, you could have done a simple search and solved your problems...

In the time it took you to compose your arrogant response, you could have answered the question. Your response indicates that you already know the answer but are to self important to answer it. Do you really know the answer or are you just another self important forum blowhard? Helpful people answer the same questions over and over instead of taking the lazy "use search" or "use google" excuse to appear informed and smart... you are clearly not one of those people.

I did do a search and have sifted through hundreds (literaly) of pages. I did not find a clear answer to my delima so I posted a question. People like you are what makes learning a new product a pain in the ***. Get over yourself.

LOL, boy do I ever agree 100% with this.

One of my biggest peeves on this site is the "search Nazi's" who answer every single post with the arrogant "use the search button"
