Opera Mini Virtual Keyboard
I was recently trying out Opera Mini and was wondering if anyone knew of a way to disable its virtual keyboard? It takes up a lot of the screen and really isn't necessary for me since the hardware keyboard is right there.
Also, I noticed that when using the hardware keyboard if I tried to enter a number it would default to the letter and I would have to tap it multiple times to get the number. Any way around this either? Thanks in advance! |
Re: Opera Mini Virtual Keyboard
I assume you are using Opera Mini 5.0. I use 4.2 set to auto-rotate with G Sensor. The soft keyboard is the regular one and there are no problems with the hard keyboard either. I found 5.0 a little quirky.

Re: Opera Mini Virtual Keyboard
Is there a way to install them side by side? I want to try 5 but don't want to get rid of 4.2 until 5 final comes out (and is hopefully better in every way).

I had them both running before I uninstalled 5.0. Use the attached cab for 4.2. should work.

Thanks for the help guys. I will try out 4.2 and see how it goes.
