Re: Verizon 2100 mAh Extended Battery with new door!

Seidio batteries are usually not much more energy than the stock battery. It's a waste of money. I always got mine from nakedcellphone on Ebay. They're expensive, but they make the battery get more than double the power. I don't think I want a new battery door. I think this time I would rather get a spare battery. You can find a good one for 35.00.

Wow, that does ugly it up. Are some having battery issues? I'm seeing about the same battery life I did with my Tilt, which had really good battery life.

Re: Verizon 2100 mAh Extended Battery with new door!

my opinion, would love the battery but that cover is UGLY. I would buy it if it looked decent. Post pics of it installed when you get it, maybe it will change my mind...

I was able to order the extended battery only by changing the service location from Zip Code 21236 to Zip Code 61761. Not sure why this is.

That's because they inventory stock by zip code. I got my TP2 the same way. It showed out of stock in my home zip code. So, I plugged in random codes until it showed one available & I ordered it.

Re: Verizon 2100 mAh Extended Battery with new door!

If you're gonna have the extra thickness added to the phone, wouldn't you want more than a 600mah increase? I'm waiting for the seido extended or for mugen to make a cdma compatable door cover for their 4500mah. However, The cover for the 2100mah Verizon does look sturdy and well designed IMO.

I made a thread where I posted links for the various extended TP2 batteries I've found. I'd link the url but I'm on Opera Mini now, just search "extended batteries" for thread title in the TP2 forum.

I hear you & I did see your thread. Thanks for the tip. But, the thing for me is I got the VZW battery for $36.74. The 4500mah is $100! I suppose if someone had money to blow, they could buy both, and use the Mugen battery with the Verizon cover if it'll fit. The battery in Mugen pics look thicker than VZW imho.

Re: Verizon 2100 mAh Extended Battery with new door!

I still prefer the 3000 mAh's that 2 stock batteries give me each day. I think the back would just make it to huge. Glad it's out for you guys that want it though!
