ActiveX on TP2 browsers?
I have a remote web camera that I want to connect to HTTP from my TP2. The camera server initiates an ActivX control. Works with XP or Vista IE 7 or 8 but not to the Opera or IE browsers on the TP2. Any ideas?

You're viewing the video in the browser. Correct? One alternative might be using Orb (www.orb.com) and/or Skyfire. http://www.skyfire.com/ |

Right, I'm accessing the camera's URL via browser. I can log into it normally and get its display frame and command buttons but where the image should be it says ActiveX not installed.

If not, try Orb and Skyfire. Neither Opera or PocketIE will handle the mobile code (ActiveX, Flash) out of the box. |
