I picked up another TP2 of craigslist sealed in box for 400 bucks. not bad lol!

I was wondering if you can carry your insurance on to this device?

Like it doesn't reset like when you buy a new phone from sprint right?

for sprint insurance will follow the line(xxx-xxx-xx01), not a particular phone

Not normally through the carrier, they really only want to within 30 days of the original hardware purchase. If the person you bought it from got this with from Sprint for example within the last 30 you might be in luck.


If not, you may be able to get direct from Asurion or a similar company. Try calling them 800-584-3666for Sprint.

From Asurion's site - 'In most cases, you can only add insurance within 15 to 30 days of activation or upgrade!'

then you are fine...whenever i get a new phone i give my old ones to relatives and they have insurance and have gotten replacements before. It doesn't have to be within 30 days as long as you already had insurance on your previous phone.

In my experience you can add insurance anytime you do an ESN change.

^you have 30 days from an ESN change :P

And actually, Asurion will let you add insurance anytime.....but theyll back charge for the months you "should have had it"
