Since you already have the "fixed" widcomm stack, can you see if this program works?

http://www.mobilesrc.com/mobileremote.aspx

I LOVED this program on my Touch Pro, but it doesn't work at all with the Widcomm stack on my Touch Pro 2.

It allows you to use your phone's keyboard as a BT Keyboard for a PC or a PS3, and the Touch Screen or G-Sensor as a BT mouse pad also for PS3 or PC

The program runs, but fails to connect to anything.

I decided to do a little research for ya since the program you posted about seemed interesting. Here you go:

http://gbmsoftware.com/index.php?opt...id=12&Itemid=7

Different program, does the same thing, and works just fine on my TP2 :D

Hope this helped!

Not exactly what I'm looking for, I appreciate it anyway though. MobileSrc Mobile Remote installs only the phone, no server side app required. I mainly used it as a BT keyboard and mouse for my PS3, but you can't install the GRemote server app on the PS3 so ... still hoping for a MS BT Stack, or a better GRemote that does not require any server app.

Those of you still having problems hanging up, try the newer stacks. Roms based on the USC or VZW 6.5 release (Calkulin's, Mightyrom WAR, are two that I have used) include an updated stack that should resolve your hangup problems.

THANK YOU
will try when I get home...

haven't tried Calkuilin's yet, but unfortunately you're wrong about WAR & Impact.
Both of these have version 1.9.2 build 500; same as standard Mighty.
Supposedly the new vzw ROM has Bluetooth version 2.1.
