Verizon says no announced date for the TP2 in the store?
 

I got a TP2 on Sept 12th and am near my 30 day "customer satisfaction" window - and a new customer switching from Sprint after 12 years - so I tried to use that leverage just now and talked to BOTH Verizon Tech Support AND CS and asked what is the official word with WM 6.5 updates and even if the TP2 releases to the stores WILL BE 6.1 or 6.5.

ANSWER: Tech Support didn't know and searched all of his knowledge base and support bulletins - he said - and even went to a supervisor and replied that "they know nothing" but "rest assure" that my TP2 with 6.1 IS UPGRADABLE ... BIG DEAL I replied, I already knew that?

So then I asked to speak to CS, and told him my dilemna, which he totally understood ... so he called a local store and asked them and they said" they have NOT received any type of email notification as to ANY DATE or whether the NEW inventory will be 6.1 or 6.5?

They really sounded like they just don't know !!

So, anyone have the facts ... I can't believe that Enterprise customers DO NOT KNOW !!!

So what are you asking??? Like John said, doesn't make any sense when you ALREADY have a TP2. What do you think is going to be different than the rom you will download from either HTC or VZW..... it should be the same rom that is going to be on the phones if they even come shipped with it on there......

What's the release date for the TP2 in a Verizon store + will it be WM 6.1 or 6.5?

but if you ALREADY have a TP2 what is the difference if its in store with 6.5 soon or not. If they ARE going to put 6.5 on it, they would have the download for people who already bought their phones either before they hit the shelves or as soon as they do..
