Verizon TP2 On Sprint TP2 Question
 

Has Anyone tried it? If so, will it allow me to use an US sim in my sprint touch pro2? Reason I ask if what I have read in other threads is sprint has made some sort of firmware that does not allow their TP2 to use US sims while in the US.

I forgot to mention the phone is on metro pcs network(no snide remarks about carrier)

seeing that sprint will not port other phones on their service legally...it wouldn't work

Rather, it seems like it would work. You wouldn't be putting a vzw phone on Sprint. You just flash the vzw firmware to an already activated Sprint TP2. Maybe just the CDMA radios are needed. We'll find out soon, but it sounds reasonable.

phone is not on sprint's network though, and I already have a sprint touch pro 2, I'm not attempting to put a verizon phone on sprint, they wouldn't allow it.
